You:I feel like I'm surfing a tsunami of bullshit while stakeholders demand backflips. Us:We'll help you cut through it, get oriented, and build what you really need.
>> There's a lot going on, isn't there?
The velocity, noise and hype in the AI industry is overwhelming. The technical complexity is deep, it is difficult to know exactly what you need or how to get it (if anything at all).
All of this while you're under intense pressure to just "do something" to realise AI value. It's a tough situation to find yourself in, enough to give you vertigo.
>> Headaches are common, sadly.
AI projects suffer from a high failure rate. As many as 95% fail to achieve ROI*. Many don't even start due to legitimate concerns around safety and regulatory compliance.
We see three barriers to success: skills, control and governance.
These all manifest in what wraps the model: what's coming to be known as the harness. This is the focus of our thought and product design.
>> Why Yera Labs?
We've been there and know it's tough, so we're creating the product we wished existed to build upon. Alongside this, in order to fund its initial development, we're offering our deep technical expertise as a service as well.
Specifically, PhD-level expertise in AI and complex data science analyses, years of experience building software in this space in a sensitive, regulated industry (Finance). Check out bio for more information.
>> How can we help?
We can assist in a few different ways
>> Ethics
It's important to us that we are honest and data-driven about what we recommend. It is wrong to sell someone an unperformant, AI-driven square peg for a round hole. We are allergic to hype and slop, and this all leads to our general position on AI.
Ultimately, it's all just software and models are a commodity. It is subject to the same hard-won lessons the industry has been learning for decades and it works best when it's augmenting people rather than replacing them.
